Most of our customers come to us because their water district sent them an annual test notice with a hard deadline. We handle it end-to-end: the test itself, any repairs if the device fails, and filing the certified test report form with the agency that sent you the notice.

How often do I have to test my backflow device?
Almost every water district in California requires an annual test on every backflow prevention assembly. Once your device is registered with a city, county, or water authority, you'll receive an annual notice requiring testing — we handle the test, any needed repairs, and file the paperwork on your behalf.
What happens if I miss my water district's deadline?
Missed deadlines typically result in fines or, in many districts, water shut-off until the test is filed. If you've just received a notice — or already missed the date — call us and we'll respond with available appointment dates to get you back into compliance.
Do you file the report with the water district for me?
Yes — filing is included. We submit the certified test report form directly to your water district through whichever method the jurisdiction requires (online portal, email, or mail), and we send you a copy along with the invoice.
What if my device fails the test?
If the device doesn't pass inspection, we'll notify you immediately, explain the issue clearly, and recommend the appropriate repair or replacement. We'll also schedule a return visit to complete the work and bring the system back into compliance. We avoid doing work without your approval.
How do I schedule and communicate with you?
Contact us by phone, email, or the scheduling form — we respond with available appointment dates. Because our routing is dynamic, we typically schedule by date rather than exact time windows. Do you service residential and commercial?
Yes — residential homes, HOAs, commercial properties, restaurants, medical facilities, and industrial sites. Whatever the device and wherever it is, we test it.
What's the difference between a RP and a DC device?
RP (Reduced Pressure) assemblies are required for higher-hazard installations (irrigation with fertilizer injection, fire lines with additives, industrial process water). DC (Double Check) assemblies are for lower-hazard setups. Both must be tested annually.
